Netflix | Keep the Fire Burning
Netflix’s “Dancing Queen” is a heartwarming film about a grieving young woman finding solace at a struggling drag club.
The task was to create buzz in anticipation of the film. The easy way would’ve been to focus on the main character, the renowned Swedish stars or the director. But instead, we made the club the hero.
Queer safe spaces are becoming less and less with more and more threats, this was especially painful during COVID.
To promote the film, we let the director and actor have a candid and moving conversation about the importance of these spaces and how their disappearance impacts individuals and in turn a community.
