Babbel | Accent Yourself

Language learning app Babbel knows that the biggest barrier to learning a new language is not learning it, but speaking it. Because having an accent is often perceived as something negative, but is it really?

With “Accent Yourself”, we focused on the beauty of having an accent, turning the stigma that is often associated with it into something to be proud of. The aim was to lower the barrier that keeps many, 69% of learners to be exact, from trying to learn a language and to get everyone to speak.

The global campaign meant there was a need to be relevant for very different target groups. From Brazil to Italy, regardless of the reason to want to learn a language, speaking it shouldn’t hold anyone back.
